HOOTS Past & Present
Here you will see some of the HOOTS we have enjoyed in the past and what we are currently up to this year. Our month by month antics. What do they say? A picture tells a 1,000 words!
...MAKE SURE YOU CHECK THIS PAGE REGULARLY OR YOU MIGHT MISS SOMETHING....
We've been a very busy Chapter as you can see. Here are a few Blasts from the Past. We have many newspaper cuttings and photographs from over the years and they bring back many happy memories spent with our Red Hat friends. Some of us have remained close friends for more than 18 years now!. That tells you something doesn't it?
...and in the beginning...
Our very, VERY First Call to Arms - who wants to be a Red Hatter? We showed up. This photo was taken in King Street for the very first gathering in 2006. Sheila standing second from the right in the biggish hat, already had the Chapter name and was the first Queen who soon left and our QJ took over. We had no idea what we were letting ourselves in for - at times now, we still don't!!!!
EDP dated - Thursday 19th July 2007
Our very first "gathering" at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in King Street where we held our first few gatherings before we moved on to pastures new!

September 2024 - CONVENTION!
a wonderful Convention
began with a colourful welcome from the Bees....
waiting for more piccies!!!.....
7 NBs travelled to the Farnham Frolics' and frolic we did. It was party party all the way - brilliantly hosted by the Bees, who gave us a wonderful time, organised so well as they usually do. And from the charity shops to the Mayor and Town Crier, Farnham came out to welcome us!
Well today was our first Monthly Lunch at the new Venue. Hope Members all enjoyed it. First time at a monthly lunch that the sun shining in was too hot and some Members had to move into the shade. After being in the dark for so many years, that was very different.
