HOOTS today & YESTER YEAR!
We have been a very busy Chapter as you can see. Here are a few Blasts from the Past. We have many newspaper cuttings and photographs from over the years and they bring back many happy memories spent with our Red Hat friends. Some of us have remained close friends for more than 19 years now! That tells you something doesn't it?
Check this page regularly as it is frequently updated as we work our way though the Hoots and activities.......scroll down to end of the page for latest photos......
....and so in the beginning.....

Our very, VERY First Call to Arms - who wants to be a Red Hatter? We showed up. This photo was taken in King Street for the very first gathering in 2006. Sheila standing second from the right in the biggish hat, already had the Chapter name and was the first Queen who soon left and our QJ took over. We had no idea what we were letting ourselves in for - at times now, we still don't!!!!

Our very first "gathering" at the New Museum of Contemporary Art in King Street where we held our first few gatherings before we moved on to pastures new!

EDP dated - Thursday 19th July 2007

Apparently this was on 7th July 2018 at The Eagle Pub!

What on earth Lady Muck is up to here I dread to think and I am certainly not going to ask!!!

Among
other
things....

So much Fun, so much Friendship over the past years. Now another era starts as we move from our beloved Nelson in August 2024......
We blinked and 2025 came and went in a flash! It's been a rough year for some, others were a bit more fortunate but we continued to take on life like true Red Hatters......and here we go starting ..
2026...

...and we're off and running again with a great start to the first lunch of the New Year enjoying playing Beetle Drive....so much fun and laughter was created. Well Done to Sue our winner with 108 points........followed by a really "buzzy" coffee morning at the Rushcutters with the happy Winners of the Valentine quiz and Valentine HAT competition......so what's next????
